... to the bus station would cost around 100 Real and we were a lot further away than that but we said if he could get a cab for that price than we would share. Sure enough Paulo (our new airport friend) went and found a cab. It's amazing what price differences there are for locals vs. tourists! ... two thousand hours of practice, at least I'm starting to build up mileage really fast. Although the light at the end of the tunnel remains a long way off, I definitely have made a lot of progress.
Tonight I'm going to a free party in Vila Madalena with most of the other American students. I imagine there will be some great stories and pictures to go along with that. For now I leave you with a few photos I took from my apartment window and in yesterday's tour of the downtown.

Well, my short stay in Sao Paulo is over. I'm now in the Admirals club in the Sao Paulo airport waiting for my delayed flight. That's the part I don't like about this job - the delayed flights. This now means I will not get to my hotel in my next city of Santiago, Chile until around midnight. Then I have an early, early, early, morning flight. Like 6:15am early. Uggh!
