I spent most of today at my hostel planning for the rest of my trip in Brazil. It’s getting harder and harder to do things at the last minute because I have certain dates where I need to be in certain places, and it’s a pretty busy time in Brazil, so places are filling up. I was able to get a lot done today though, so even though I didn’t see any of Sao Paulo, I am still happy with my process today.

It was broadly successful and we ended our stay in SP with a new found fondness for Brazilian people and admiration for the rich culture of this ...

... more people from the walking tour. Despite it being a large city, we'd still managed to bump into the same people! The street part wasn't quite what we'd expected carnaval to be like (no parades and music), but nonetheless lots of great people having a good time is clearly what the event it all about.

The next day we headed to the Museo de Futebol, housed in a beautiful art deco stadium that is also home to the Corinthians team. It's always nice to visit a museum ...
