... but Ko Samed has gone upscale... Instead of a little wooden bungalow with a fan, we are now staying in a villa with air con, TV, safe, and all the amenities + an amazing view. Not quiet as low key, but very charming and I do appreciate the comfort after the last few days... We had our toes in the sand and a cocktail in hands within a few minutes and the political mess of Bangkok seems very, very far away already... ahhhhhhh....
