Moving on I got over to Ben Thanh Market and followed Lan's directions to a local food restaurant. Do yourself fresh springrolls, nothing better than that in this heat. The Ben Thanh market has a lot to offer, again my lack of space in the backpack rescued me and I settled for one pair of fake Nike socks for 1€.
