An early start to the day, set off from Ho Chi Minh City at 8.30 for a 2 hour drive to My Tho to visit one of the islands in the Mekong Delta. Good hotel, adequate service, food at the comp breakfast buffet is okay. Rooms are quite spacious and good water flow/pressure in the shower, which to me is very important. Hot water doesn't take too long at all to start flowing which is nice.
Would be nice however, if they allowed you to have 2 keys. One to leave in the room (since it's required to operate the power supply to room) so you can leave the A/C running. Instead of coming back after a long day in the intense heat & humidity, to a warm room!
Overall, about a rating of 8/10 I'd say.
