... asked Harry to take us somewhere to get jewellery as Nik wanted to get something cheaper than it would cost at home. We drove for quite a while, over a new toll bridge and through lots of busy areas to get to a little area known for it's jewellery. The shop Harry took us to was really nice. It had beautiful koi ponds everywhere. Unfortunately, the prices were more than ...

Well, yesterday was so nice I decided that I wasn't ready to leave the AniniRaka yet. Also, it is only a 5 minute walk to where the yoga conference will be held. This soon became something we regretted as we all wandered around stinking strongly of monkey's bottom and set off in search of somewhere to wash our shoulders. Wandering back through Ubud we stopped in various little shops and enjoyed some lunch ...

... ever two days hit the sack and didn't set an alarm. We awoke to the sound of building work and a crying child. We had been informed before booking that our little homestay was undergoing some cosmetic improvements, but the wringing child wasn't predicted. Amazingly he was more annoying that any of the building works and would be a feature of the mornings here. Our first day in Ubud, we decided not to hire a bike but to use our legs for something other than sitting and do ...
