Hoewel we onderweg een lichte bui hadden, blijk het in Medan enorm geregent te hebben, diverse straten staan onderwater, op sommige plekken wel bijna een halve meter. Ploegend door het water bereiken we ons volgend doel: een "luxe" winkelcentrum.
