... is risky as it's just like you see in the films, cyclists, joggers, skateborders and pedestrians all using the same boardwalk. In some places they have split the path with just peds on one side so it did make the long walk easier. I have to say Venice Beach came as a surprise. There was a sort of Rasta air about the place. Lots of arty stalls ,buskers, a big contrast from sophisticated Santa Monica . It made a lovely stroll.
