... that is ongoing as I write this on the way to the Cambodian border. Someone at the bank told us that if I left the card in the machine, it would automatically be eaten up and stored. I had hoped it would be recovered, but when the bank sent someone to the machine to look, there was only one card there, not mine. Then another official at the bank told me the machine doesn't eat your card, it just leaves it there. Uh-oh. Maybe it's been stolen, I thought.
