Afterwards lunch together at Ramesh restaurant where a traditional Thali lunch is served. The owner is very nice and Rolf really supports his business by inviting everyone for lunch.     ... it really was good or if it was just because it wasn't a kebab. After a failed attempt at trying to find Wi-Fi in town (there literally is none guests can use, apparently it’s only for the boss) we decided to head to the pub for some dinner and a few beverages. Here we learnt about the Old Portuguese Bridge which has a shrine on it and people come and give offerings of bananas and bread and pray, all in the middle of the road.

    ... We asked a lot of questions about family life in India and about arranged marriages. The young, 19 year old woman (who has a 3 year old daughter), is not happy at all in her marriage and knows she has to stay in this loveless relationship for the rest of her life. Sad but true.
