... am going to have to exercise my hacker skills and get past all the country blocks and filters from Qatar and Hollywood. Wish me luck. We found a driver that shaved 30 minutes off of our weekly pilgrimage to church. We will try to use his services again if we can. I will upload a video of a tour of the ...

Another very early start today with the alarm going off at 5am. We were in a taxi by 6am to head way down the other end of the city to the new Al Maktoum International Airport. I hate those things. So crowded and awkward, small and smelly! When we arrived at the stop, we still had to walk for about 15min till we came to the markets where Priscah found the good quality shoes for the big orphans. We were in this shop for over an hour as they had to run ...

... again, albeit one who was hard to communicate with. I learnt her name (mami) and that she's a nurse. I tried telling her mami is the name of a friend noodle snack in Singapore, but she didn't get it, and was probably confused why I was pointing at her and making noodle slurping noises. I mentioned to her being a nurse is good, since if we get into a car accident (biggest risk in Jordan), she can stick an IV needle into me, to which she seemed to light up with enthusiasm. A ...
