    ... whole precinct was about the arts, with galleries and displays, but with only a ten minute stop, we didn't get a chance to look around a lot.

    Stop three was on a reclaimed island called The Pearl. This is the only area in Doha where foreigners can own property. It is very modern and rich, with Ferrari, Maserati and Rolls Royce dealerships right near where we stopped.     So, seven hours and 15 minutes on the flight from Singapore to Doha we were only delayed by 15 minutes.     I spoke with a nice guy named Tom and I explained everything as best I could. He seemed confused as he looked through the computer, so he asked if he could put me on hold while he spoke with his ticketing supervisor to figure things out. I was on hold for about 15 minutes.
