    Thirteen hour flight took the plane over the Atlantic Ocean, North Africa and the Arabian Peninsula. Missed seeing the landmarks as it was cloudy most of the way during daylight hours. Although there were plenty of tanker ships and oil rigs as the plane approached Qatar.

    ... night formed our backdrop. afterwards we hired a dhow to take a trip round the bay but didn't see any dolphins! All the while the Qatari's were celebrating their previous evening's football victory over Saudi Arabia by driving their cars up and down the corniche flags flying,hooting,standing on the roof of their moving vehicles and showering Qatari flag confetti.     ... as we went through immigration, then found out the tour counter was at the transfer terminal. Seems quite obvious now that it would be but remember we had just had an 11 hour overnight flight with little sleep and were possibly not thinking straight!!

    ... d say that since I am of the insane few people that loves to drive. Regardless of my location within Doha, I don't believe I will ever be able to drive here...OMG! talk about crazy, dangerous driving!!!! Work environment... Have a desk, chair, the basics, nothing fancy. Perks...great co-workers; they are so sweet and helpful. Being across the door from the docs, priceless!!!
