There had been an injury whilst we were gone, Paul had hurt his toe on a rock. The skin on the big toe had been totally scraped off the end - it looked so sore and was pouring with blood. So donning the plastic gloves, and armed with antiseptic....I set about cleaning it up for him (first teacher, now nurse it seems). ... I would even say that it was a better trip than Asia because I just had a better contact with the locals,
- I can not thank everybody separately with whom I have been traveling and who have been reading my stories on this blog, so thank you all for your support,
- this story will for sure be continued somewhere in the beginning of next year...

... loved having their photo taken and would run over saying 'take my photo take my photo!' We then had some lunch with the staff members, eating maize and beans. It was brilliant to see the school as it makes the connection with the boys so more real. On Monday next week I am going on the street walk, where we see where many of the boys originally came from.

I think the more academically inclined refer to this as the Coriolis Effect.

the guy was really good AND he said I was his first jigger patient.
