... for all of 40 which time I was saying 'faster'!!! It was a novel way of getting a lift down the road, and refreshing to have a bit of a breeze through the barnet! No doubt I looked like Bridget Jones in the open top car scene when I got off!!

The boys (and all of the other students seemed pleased to see us! They have settled really well into school life and Kelvin was elected as a prefect - we arrived during the election process of the prefects ...

... after that. The city is actually on an island and is the biggest port in Kenya. We ate lunch in the city at a great local restaurant and then we left for the beach. That night we went to a local bar with a father and son from Liverpool and a guy from China so we could watch an England soccer match. Some facilities better than others...but the desire to learn was the same everywhere...and education is highly respected as are those who deliver the lessons...the teachers.
