The centre is based in Mikindani. It was much different to Mombasa, but still busy. This place has random cows, goats and god knows what else just wandering around the roads. We got off the matatus and had to wade through rubbish on the edges of the dirt tracks they call roads.

Kids do what they are told. Everyone has a role to play. It's interesting to witness the dynamics of how people interact. ...

I had the pleasure of traveling to a eastern province to visit a project which has been started by Mary Wabwire who had previously worked with the Ngong Project! About a year ago Mary and her family made the move to an area that is located about 1 hour outside Nairobi in the same direction as the airport...upon their arrival to the area it was obvious to Mary that there was some major issues relating to women and children in this area. Mombasa road connects ...
