I had specifically told Sean in Carrefour to check that the top of the gas canister fitted our gas cooker, and apparently as was well. Flew into Muscat airport at 4pm, taxi was the only way to the hotel near Muscat port as there are no buses at the airport - first lesson in Oman is it is not cheap - at least the fares are controlled by the airport taxi stand and were reasonable. Hot weather - around 25C ...
