... I got to see loads of fish, stingrays, turtles and found a huge area of anemone which was covered in clown fish (nemos!). We left the Perhentians at 8 AM on a speedboat which seemed fun at first - but after 20 minutes on rough sea with 2 x 150 bhp outboard motors going at full speed on a little boat, I started to feel a bit worse for wear. The next couple of days were spent this way, beaching, swimming, wave braving and eating ice cream, I definitely remember there was a lot of ice cream- haven't really got any more to say about that but smile and exhale. It was a set menu with a choice of meat / fish, sauce, and a real diverse mix of side dishes on one plate. They included rice, baked potato, mixed salad, banana bread, pineapple, and watermelon.
