... in the middle of yet another brutally cold Canadian winter. The Killer B’s, Deb & Dave B, were the first to show and, as usual, we had a great time with them and although the adventures were not to the same level of trips past we did try out a couple of the more amusement park-like adventures on offer- underwater scooters, parasailing, dune buggys and so on. Just to feed Dave B’s need for a soccer fix we took in a game with the local Playa team beating a rival. ...

          ... sea.

Although we had only sampled the city of Tulum, we began our return to our bus. So back thru the south side of town we walked, thru the south tunnel exit in the wall, down stairs steps and back along the half hour long trail to the parking lot and tourist market, we walked with a better understanding of this civilization in Meso-America that span almost 4 millennium from before Christ until after the arrival of the Spanish Conquistadors. ... and Coba on Tuesday. We are excited.

After meeting with Gaby we went to the front desk to ask them if they had any available rooms up higher as our room was a little loud being right off of the pool where everyone walks past. They said they had a room on the 5th floor we could look at. They took us up there and we checked it out. Bryce was much happier, our view was nicer because we could see farther out to the ocean and a little bit of Cozumel ...

... at the dinner - she came back to him, long story!
