    ... Playa. This fresh water dipping hole was crystal clear, perfectly cool after a hot day in the sun and just an overall great place to hang out. I wish I had a car, more time and lots of money, I would go hopping from one beach to the next and into every cenote on the way.

    ... is cheap. There are some nasty hurricanes in the area, close enough to literally rain on our parade every day so far but not close enough to cause us any major problems unlike elsewhere in the country. We have a few more days here before we make another leap south.... maybe by then the smoke would've cleared from the brain strain during Spanish lessons and we can mash a sentence together.... maybe the first thing I will order in Spanish is a Corona, they're pretty cheap ...

    Righto, Beyers has just joined me at the beach but has run off to play beach volley ball so excuse me as I am going to join him…. Phew I’m back, well volley ball turned into beach football! Then I had to get in the pool to cool down, it’s 6pm now!     ... a pretty sight. We love our room. It's really good. There's loads of space. We can arrange our things nice and orderly and it's really cool. The man makes good towel art. Like today we had a turtle. It was very excellent. We also really like the wildlife here. Every day we see iguanas, coatimundi and agoutis wandering around.     ... main party street, which had people bursting out of various nightclubs onto the street. The prices were astronomical - yes, even worse than Melbourne - due to Semana Santa. One place wanted 650 pesos (US $50) entry - not even including any drinks! Being poor backpackers, we ended up at a place that only charged 200 pesos.
