Travel Blogs from San Vito lo Capo
San Vito Lo Capo, lovely town although tastefully touristic with fab beaches all around.. Had a lovely walk into the town centre followed by a tasty ice cream, lots here and quite tasteful for a tourist destination but lucky for us it's out of season but still busy enough for a nice atmosphere... ... the kid's mother were devastated. After Segesta, my only chore for the day was to get some lunch on the way back. The kids have been homesick for the last few days and getting jack of travelling. Checked in at San Francesco Monastery. Medieval but with modern amenities. My window looks out to a courtyard, I feel transported to the 11th century. Explored the scientific center. Didn't realise Richard Feynmann, my physics idol, used to lecture here. Dinner at S. Rococco cafe, two courses with a surprise desert. With neuroscientists from Cambridge. One of them's presenting ...
