... Sabarmati Ashram. This was where Ghandi used to live from 1915 to 1930 and was also where he set off on his famous Salt March in 1930. There was an interesting museum about his life work, including a letter written to Adolf Hitler in 1940 (pleaded to stop the war) and also the preserved buildings where he used to live.
