... I wanted to go on the worlds fastest roller coaster. I did it! - HATED EVERY SECOND! it was awful!! haha! I am glad I went on, but never ever again!

5) Georgia's visit
So, completely randomly a really old friend (we are talking friends who met because our mums were at antenatal classes together - or I think so anyway!) came to Abu Dhabi for a month with her job! So of course we met up a few times and went out for food and drinks! It was lovely to see a familiar face!! :)

... it was much more interesting to see what was going on in the restaurant. It was the first time for both us trying Iranian. Some of the food was quite different. Then we went back to our hotel and we decided to go for a swim at the beach. That was lovely. It was a bit rocky getting into the ocean but the water was very warm and still and we bobbed around for a long time. There was a pontoon that we swam to a sat for ...

... mall to buy Ned's birthday present amongst other things. Bizarre to be in such a large mall with very few customers. Afternoon nap followed by dinner at Thai restaurant in the hotel. Ned still no all that well but well behaved and charming the pants off the staff. Nice relaxing ...

... nothing is happening on he pitch or during half times. Solution is easy and thanks to speedy WiFi I watch television and listen to german radio. Only problem is that the picture is about 10 seconds faster then the sound but OK you can't have everything. We are working on that. Ok enough for today some more holes have to be drilled and pictures have to be installed in my living room today. All the best and will keep you updated about more ad(i)ventures in Adi Dhabu soon...

... with a nice meal in a local restaurant serving middle-eastern and Indian favourites. We were led into the family room much to John's surprise as we have no kids. However, as Terrie astutely pointed out Family = any group with kids or women. The main restaurant (admittedly it was much less plush than the Family Room) only had men in it.
