    ... have been an achievement. From where the road ends, its approx. 800 m up the mountain side, with the last 300m or so requiring the skill of a mountain goat with no nerves.

    We got up this morning to rain and low cloud, such that you couldn't see the mountains. We went down to an incredible buffet in the restaurant. Took us awhile to figure the coffee machine out that produces excellent coffee at the push of a button, and you pick which type you want (expresso, cappuccino, etc- but in German so we couldn't figure out what we were getting).     ... it was raining, so we caught a taxi rather than walking. Our hotel is called the Hotel Schloss Lebenberg. It's a beautiful hotel, about 150 meters up on a hill above the town of Kitzbuhel, but the walk into town is only 15 minutes along paved alleyways and paths. We had a nice lunch at the hotel.
