    Day 39

A travel blog entry by 4girls on Aug 08, 2014

Sleeping in until noon we had to quickly get ready to meet the group for our canoe session. We walked to the town square where our tour manager found out we had already missed the bus as she tad been told the wrong time. This meant one thing...Off to Burger King for breaky. The 10km walk starts with a kilometre along the sandy beaches which look stunning iwith blue sky and turquoise sea. It's a shame to leave as the walk cuts up the limestone gorge but it is equally impressive with trees, scrub, wild flowers against the white limestone. It's hot and eventually we arrive at the Cova de Coloms, ...

... see the defence tower and the newly built ferry port, returning to town for lunch. We then catch the bus out to Santandria only 15 minutes away through a mass of low rise holiday hotels and apartments but at the end a very pretty inlet with small sandy beach a couple of bars. We walk toward the mouth of the inlet and sit for an hour in the sun. A ...
