During the nights we bounced between bars and clubs and ended our last night by being the only people in the Irish pub in the area. ... people join and leave at each port, so the staff are really kept busy. We certainly don't begrudge paying our tips for them!! We are back at sea now, heading for Sardinia. It's a bit rough, so I might not make it to dinner tonight. I can assure you though, I won't be food deprived! ... shops and restaurants, and nice buildings. Best of all was Fornells, mentioned to us by a Spanish friend, and a good recommendation. Very unspoiled, traditional, and great fish restaurants.
The whole of Menorca is a Unesco World Heritage site, so it is amazingly quiet, a lot of agriculture, and very green.

... tasty local cheeses, jamon (ham), bread, olives and wine. Sonja and Roberto cooked some great meals and it was nice just to sit together and all six of us enjoy each others company. One evening we ate at the Casablanca Hotel just down the road from us. The fish, calamari and baby octopus were so fresh, and all washed down with a good bottle of wine or two and finished off with a Gran Duque d'Alba.(Mallorca Brandy) ...
