    ... is a old town built into the hill very high up. A stone archway is the entrance to the town and the main street. The narrow street is lined with lots and lots of small shops, some with very fancy things. There is a big square in the middle with nice views of the water.     ... Given that I am with the locals, they do know where the affordable restaurants are. During a walk we got to see Dolce and Cabana in the flesh, he seemed to be drawing quite a crowd.

    For dinner we joined my cousin Nello, Paola, and their friends at "Zeppos Restaurant" for dinner. Great Sicilian Cuisine. After dinner another walk, returning to the cars before being driven home to Acireale.

    ... In the evening Fiorella, Nuncio, Mariella, Pino and few other friends and I had dinner at a little restaurant opposite San Sebastiano, a beautiful baroque Cathedral. I enjoyed a Chipolina and a Catochata. They would something similar to involtini, but with pastry. Finally Fiorella dropped me off at San Giovanni to rejoin Pina, Saro and Zia Graziella, where I would remain for the night. ...

    My cousin Fiorella, picked me up this morning to take me out for a Granita and Brioche with two of her friends, Mariella and Pino, who constantly is a comedian and works as a Police Officer.
