I was also fortunate to attend the local "Sant Narcis Fires i Festes" the patron saint festival of Girona. Maria and I walked through the incredibly beautiful Parc de la Devesa, a massive never ending "Narnia like" forest of incredibly tall deciduous trees. Within this forest, as the leaves were just beginning to change colour and fall, was the local fair with all the rides and kids attractions!

Calonge to I'Estratit to Cadaques to Berger
... toilets were huge and very clean but no toilet seats or toilet roll? This site also had a pool, bar and shop. The site was only a 20 minute walk from the town so we were able to walk in in the evening for tapas and a few beers/ cocktails. To Cadaques: We stopped at some Roman and Greek Ruins in Empuries. Barcelona to Calogne
After picking up the motor home we thought it would be a good idea to go to a decathlon store to buy garden chairs ect. This however was is Badalona a fair way across barcelonas busy motorways and ring roads. Driving on the wrong side of the road through manic narrow tunnels, threw us in the deep end.
