Like I've said before, Montreal has so much to offer - a few great hours at the museum were followed by a stroll down St. Catharine's street, a little cafe time, and a stroll through Mont Royal park. Das lange Warten wird dann aber doch belohnt, als die riesen große St. Patrick Figur sich auf uns zubewegt und die ersten Dudelsackklänge durch die Straßen hallen. ... list from MC was Schwartz's deli on Saint Laurent. Famous for their smoked meat, I knew where it was because of the people queuing outside in the rain. Inside it looked like a kebab shop and had walls lined with newspaper articles about the restaurant. Former patrons at Schwartz's are Nana Mouskouri and Celine Dion and as soon as the smoked beef sandwich was delivered in front of me, I knew why. Salty tender goodness. Om nom nom.
