Today we had an off day. We were supposed to work 7-10:30, but another couple who didn't have a job relieved us for our shift. It was really nice of them, but we also messed up. FMCA is serving breakfast each morning. We had decided last night that we would get up early and go into breakfast, so I set the alarm for 5:30. The alarm went off and we stayed in bed for a while. Second stop on the tour was a building where they are developing vehicles and ...

... missing connections. I was surprised and gratified. That, to my mind, is the way customer service SHOULD work. And it hardly ever does.

The Cancun flight was delayed only an hour, and so eventually, we were off to Cancun.

(Side note: this was a MUCH bigger plane, and apparently not affected by nasty turbulence. Either that, or the turbulence was gone, because we did not experience the roller coaster ride of the way in. Good.)
