    ... tip to be divvied up amongst all the staff - we saw so many and they were all great and not all were on duty when we left so after talking to Humphrey about it, he agreed a general tip was the way to go. We also left a donation to the school as they really do run with very little - such a credit to the teacher and the parents for helping when they can.

    ... of anti biotics and probiotics! That's over 30 quid! How can a country that has so many poor people charge anything like that for medicine. I don't know how anyone can afford that sort of medical help here unless they have insurance. I'm sure there is some way they can pay for it but imagine if there is not?! Thank goodness for the NHS.
    An amazing puppy filled long weekend with some fantastic people. Sad to say goodbye to Bron, not sure when I'll see her next!

    Friday was a perfect day for touring Joburg by car. Our tour included visits to the art and photography exhibits at the African Museum ( a former market), and views of the city from Carlton Center, the highest building. In spite of millions of people, there are few cars on the road or people walking downtown. I presume they must all be working hard in the many high rises! Chris Green, our guide, is passionate about how the city has made so much progress coming together ...
