    Day 52 – Monday 4th May

Up early and to the Panorama Buffet by 7am to put the feedbag on again. It was very busy up there and no spare tables other than out on the terrace … and with a heavy fog and not being able to see a thing, it wasn't particularly inviting. We sat there anyway as there was not a lot of choice – it was slightly cool out there but that didn’t worry us.

... time for everyone else who had this wonderful idea as well. Traffic brought us to a standstill and we crawled through a couple very cute little seaside villages and we quickly realized that not only would we probably never find a place to park but we would probably not be able to enjoy the quiet, relaxing sea breeze lunch we had planned. So we decided to carry on in the long line of traffic back to Cape Town and we headed back to the waterfront instead.

Waking up this morning I was a bit sad to leave. This beautiful country, the people, scenery, cultures and communities are so diverse which makes this whole trip worthwhile. Over breakfast I reflected over my time here, I think that Cape Town would be a great place to take a group of school kids in that there is a lot to do and explore ...

Decided to drive down to Cape Point.

Last year when we arrived here the whole Cape was clouded out and we couldn't see a thing.

It couldn't have been any more different today. Very warm, very calm and very clear.

The beaches here are amazing and the views are stunning.
