... what it would be like to be met at the airport with a sign with our name on it!" We walked to the car, loaded the luggage and we're off to the airport hotel. It is a very fine facility close to the airport since we will coming back first thing in the morning to fly on to Cape Town. The Kriedemann's treated us to a very fine buffet dinner at the hotel. They are an outstanding ministerial couple - Southern Africa is blessed to have them serving ...

The city tour began with a stop to the house where Nelson Mandela was living with his third wife at the time of his death. Almost everything in the city is a monument to Mandela. Before you know it, we ran into Lindsey, our tour guide, holding the Rider University sign for us to identify her as we cleared customs.

... after some conference calling this morning, the final decision to carry on was made and its happening!

The route has changed slightly for myself and Glen. We will be sorting our backs out with Physio on Friday morning (No ballie jokes!) and will start early with an easy ride to Port Edward on Friday morning. We will meet up with the rest of the group at Izinolweni later the day.

Updates to the blog will happen on a daily basis from now and as the action unfolds!
