Later that afternoon I had my 3rd bump (and hopefully the last one) – on stepping out of the caravan, I walked straight into the open window with my temple and eye...not a happy bunny. Think I’ll have a bit of a scar, but I got cold water on ...

Day 43: morning in Salzburg, travel to Munich

A travel blog entry by sarah_rossie on Jul 24, 2013

This morning I just went for a little walk. At least that was the plan. Ended up walking for a solid 4hrs up and down the big hill three times. I went to the nonnberg abbey where the real Maria was. The abbey is closed to visitors but I went to the church which was built in the 1200s making it one if the oldest abbeys. Then I went for a walk along the top of the hill and had good views of Salzburg. I met some ...
