... paper, printing, shipping, aerospace, musical instruments, the list goes on and on. Really nice exhibits with many of them translated into English. We strolled the museum about three hours before succumbing to technology fatigue. There is only so much one can absorb before reaching "tilt".

We left the museum to find Munich cool, rainy and windy. A front was moving through but later in the afternoon, the weather proved to be quite ...

... Hohenschwengau castle isn't quite as pretty as Neuschwanstein, but is cool, nonetheless. We saw it from below, but decided to hike up to Neuschwanstein for a better view. Unfortunately the popular bridge with the view was closed for renovation, but we found a little trail that took us to what we think is a better view anyway! Definitely worth the hike. After a long day of adventures, we went back to Munich to leave the next day for Berlin! *pictures to come ...

... with the tent owners & families...Alongside are the amazing bands and endless amounts of people. Plus the all important arrival of the Beer barrels by horse and cart. The beer tapping happens in the Löwenbrau tent and somehow we managed to get into this crazy place! We watched (well couldn't see much) of the mayor starting the festival by tapping the first barrel...and then the music and chaos began! Of course there was no way ...

... us the beautiful gothic building and a bit of history of the places. It was hard to hear what he was saying so didn't fully get the stories. A game he introduced us to was 'stranger danger' when you see another tourist hanging around the edge of the group trying to get a free walking tour you yell out STRANGER DANGER and the whole group must drop to the floor! It was a lot of fun although didn't happen as often as I felt it ...
