... dark wood and high mildewed ceilings in the old part of town. My room was guarded by two mannequins dressed in traditional clothing. They didn't freak me out at all. Kursunlu Waterfalls
A welcome reprieve after exploring sites in the heat of the day. Some pretty waterfalls and forest tracks to explore.

Dinner at the most upmarket restaurant of our trip, set on the cliffs overlooking the harbour. A lovely way to finish our stay in this lovely place.

... was so big and rich that it had a free beach boat service that ran up the river to the path which was like 30 metres from the beach, crazy rich and ideal for lazy people) but I wanted to walk to the beach, so did my New Zealand friend Hamish, so we walked together to the beach, the walking path was only like 2.5 KM and a real nice path, so we both enjoyed it and were there soon. ... That night was the much awaited expedition to the Chimeara or as commonly known, the flames of Olympus. Homer, in his Iliad and Odyssey spoke about the Chimeara all those hundreds of years ago. The 6 of us donned our hiking boots, (except for me in my slipslops) attached our "kopligte" and headed for the trek up the mountain!!! Jeez, I wont lie, it was QUITE a climb!!!
