... We looked around for the Orcas and found a dolphin pool. I got to touch a dolphin, we then found some Bat rays(dad said they were like an Eagle ray). They were slimy. We then had lunch with the Orcas , wow. We sat at a table near the water, while the trainers talked to us while they fed the Orcas. I can't remember what the lunch was like but mum & dad said it was yummy. I got so close to the Orcas it felt like I could touch them. ...

We departed San Diego heading into the sun in the morning for a change. An uneventful route to SW Utah was planned and uneventfully achieved, passing through Las Vegas without even pulling the handle on a penny slot (although most slot machines these days are electronic and only have push buttons). ... both fell off the rope at the same spot. Both were ok though. Daddy chickened out and only did the easy courses. He said he is more useful with his feet on the ground! After the park we headed to the Padres game at PETCO Park. We met Jim and Dana, their adorable daughter Alice and nephew Wes.
