My last two days in Tenerife

... as clear and spotted with stars as it looked tonight; being above the clouds definitely helped us experience parts of the universe we normally never would have seen, and I'm glad we chose to do this for our final excursion. We got to hear traditional legends about the big/small bears (dippers) and Teide, learn about the life of a star, and see many planets and constellations--including Saturn, Mars, Sagitarus, Virgo, and many others. Gynecology

... Marc and Sergio didn't show up for class today, so Ashley and I got to leave the hospital early. We went to SuperDino to get some snacks and then ran back to the residencia. I don't know why I've been so tired today, but I had two coffees before seminar and I still almost fell asleep. If this is culturally insensitive or disrespectful enough, it's ...

Who would have thought Tenerife would be the place to try on my 'travelling boots' once again; it is not a back packers place of discovery, adventure or contact with the indigenous population but it is away and somewhere I had not yet visited.

The four hour flight from Gatwick was wonderful, (mainly because I had spent too long grounded in the UK), regretfully the airport assistance was needed to transfer me from the check-in to the aircraft. ...

    Week3---WEEKEND---week4

A travel blog entry by btfreder on Jun 11, 2014

... soup, fried cheese with honey and basil sauces, huge plates of chicken and ribs, and then finished the whole thing off with some cake. The people around me were mostly vegetarians, so I got to eat a lot of ribs and chicken--practically all of it actually--so by the time we got to the bus I was so full I felt like I was going to throw up. It was so worth it though.

It was so cool to meet our new fellows, and I loved going to the beach and seeing the mountains, so I had ...
