... merge into one big mess. The police presence. I would have seen at least 40 police during my walk. Very, very serious police officers too. Cars for hire. All manner of exotic cars (including a McLaren, a Ferrari, and an Audi R8) were parked in the side streets off the Champs with signs on them "drive me". Some very cool dudes hiring them out too. Departure from Paris

... Eurostar for the journey home. It was another bright, cloudless day and even warmer than yesterday. We seemed to have packed in so much this weekend and had really enjoyed ourselves, but it still seemed to be a shame to be leaving Paris on such a sunny day with all the buildings looking so beautiful, and there still being so much to see and do in this lovely ...

A nice cruisey afternoon but hard work slogging up and down the hills with Bronte in the stroller recovering from the night before. So, while we didn't do much, we had a great few days. Paris is such a unique place, that just wandering through the streets is a treat. Everyone enjoyed it, I ...

Disneyland Paris- Not The Happiest Place On Earth

... an unsafe situation to be in the midst of. Keep in mind this was only just past 10:00 and we had 13 more hours ahead of us. The main crowds hadn't even arrived yet, but I knew they were on their way. We were in NYC for New Year's Eve this year and the crowds there were more contained and managed that here. I went back to find the girls and we went into the "queue" and I use that term loosely, for Thunder Mountain. The wait time posted was 15 minutes, but it ended up being ...
