... a man comes back and says that he is checking up on our room. There seem to be a lot of very unhappy people in the lobby. If there is a problem with our booking I will become one of them. A bowl of chocolate and garlic soil with radishes and a foamy dip. ...

We happen upon the Paris Opéra, which we saw in maquette form in the Musée d'Orsay, and the Galleries Lafayette, which, despite its fantastic stained glass dome, is really just a big mall. And it's open late tonight, and we're in the middle of January sales. ...

... Fodor’s. We walked in the door and got a weird feeling in us, the walls were covered in graffiti! Anyway we sat down at a table and were surprisingly waited on by a crazy man that just pulled up a chair at our table and sat down with us. After we tried to figure out the menu, he got up and sort of yelled the order to the man in the back cooking who came back later to make sure the food order was right. Then the crazy man, in between making ...
