We desperately watch the sky, catching the occasion glimpse of blue here and there, but the temperature is dropping, and it is getting too late in the date for the fog to burn off, so we give up on that hope. Instead, we, laugh at the fact that we are only able to see half the tower, and wonder who we have to contact in order to get our money back. Hopefully the sun will make an appearance before the end of ...

A short stroll across the Pont Saint-Louis bridge back to Ile Saint-Louis, we had a light dinner at the Le Saint-Regis café and began our French fat accumulation with some delicious ice cream from the world famed Berthillon’s. Julie always thought it would be romantic to go to Paris for our wedding anniversary. Coincidentally this year our anniversary was on the same day as State of Origin game 3. But back to the start of the day. We awoke late as the curtains were block out. Exchanged anniversary gifts then rushed down for breakfast, full French buffet. Unexpectedly there were corn flakes so we each got a bowl of corn flakes and poured the milk from the container. We sat to eat them and realised the milk was ...
