... dome over the central altar; 8 small rose windows; and brilliantly colored mosaics everywhere. Unfortunately, there were signs asking that photos not be taken, with which we complied. We'll be hunting up pictures to share. We sat for a while to soak it in, and to remember all our loved ones. We wandered next behind this church, to get a few photos of its spires and gargoyles. The streets beyond it were filled with souvenir shops, cafés and people. We got some gelato and ...

... polar fleece to be seen. Mind you we have had a continuous run of beautiful weather, hovering in the mid 20s, still and clear.
Apart from this envy, Paris is brilliant. Over the past few days we have got into Paris life. From our little apartment we have direct views to the tower and Arc De Triomph. ... soaked walking the remainder of the road up to the Arc de Triomphe. We made it though, took the photo and then headed to the Metro for a trip home and a rest before dinner. Dinner was at Bofinger which when we arrived we realised was an old style brasserie a little like La Coupole. The boys were fantastically well behaved over dinner and they ate their two course (13 Euro) dinner beautifully. Hamish has steak and chips (with a few vegies) and James had a beautiful Salmon pie which was ...

... my bags I cursed myself for bringing a warm jacket and a couple of hoodies which I would never get a chance to wear. When we landed in Paris it was 11 degrees and I was so glad to have a warm jacket to put while I was waiting for the shuttle to pick me up.
The place I'm staying is probably the best yet. It is a fairly new apartment on the ground floor, with a small garden off the deck, and the whole place is just very modern and ...
