I woke up to the sound of beautiful guitar playing and a first world problem. I encounter this first world problem every morning…I had to wee. But I have to descend two flights of stairs to the bathroom…so I usually hold it and try to go back to sleep…but the wee always wins.

I had a burning hot shower. It's too cold or too hot and never anything in between.

I called Mum and Grandma in Australia and had a good chat.

... I will attempt to make Sunday. The best part was a trio of pumpkin, apple and pecan pies, topped off by the Cowboys beating the Raiders!
Now for Black Friday...I did a little on-line shopping before venturing out into the triqs of Valletta. We went to St Paul's Pro-cathedral which is the Anglican Church built after the British took over Malta mid 19th Century. Took a few pics, but the organ was being restored, so the sanctuary was covered ...

... the fun task of buying a new kettle since the one we had had broken, then we went to the amazing DVD shop where you can rent new films for only €1 a night - bargain! We spent the evening watching the film and I told Chris about his birthday weekend.. We packed so we were ready and both wished we didn't have to go to work before we could leave for Gozo!! Counting down the hours ...

They both caught the morning light beautifully. The road winds up and around as we head towards the middle of the country, offering a stunning view of the countryside and the coastline we were just moving along.
