Hello for a quick post today. we traveled to Sulmona Italy. It was a beautiful drive down here. The mountains are beautiful. We are now in the Abruzzo region. We find that each of the regions have different specialty foods. Today is All Saints Day, thus some shops are closed.

The site Stewart had picked wasn't too far from Vieste. We had to negotiate a few more hilly roads, but nothing like the drive a few days before. The landscape became a bit more lush as we approached the Abruzzo region. It was definitely mountainous countryside though and reminded us of our trip out with the film crew a few months before.
