    ... soup with one of the teachers from Caitlin's school at a little hut tucked away in the middle of nowhere. An older gentleman brought our food into the one room hut and cooked live fish in front of us. An experience to say the least, but all so delicious and fresh. Plus plenty of warm sake to help it all go down :)

    Goal: Check out the surroundings without getting lost

    ... fish, raw octopus, rice, miso soup, veggies, noodles, pickles and seaweed! it was all so good! it was fun talking with the members of the association and out of coincidence we met another japanese man who had lived in battle creek! its a small world! then at the end we were given gifts again! this time i got a photo frame that has sumo wrestlers of the front! it is very neat and i will post a picture below! then we were off agian this time to the Handa Municipal museum.
