I really want to learn more, I'm trying to keep adding words and phrases to my memory and pay close attention to common things said around me. Learning more all the time. ... a bit earlier than planned, so decided to check out the ganman-ga-Fuchi Pools over the other side of town, a sight sacred in Buddhism . With the heavy rain that hit in the afternoon the pools had turned into rapids, which made a dramatic scene with the volcanic rock forcing water off at crazy angles. Afterwards I headed back into Tokyo on the same route. Hopefully I'll be heading to kamakura tomorrow for even more shrines because today obviously wasn't ...

... easy to find professional quality images of such locations on the internet. Instead I prefer to capture scenes that evoke something of the mood that permeates a place. The two Geishas going for a walk on the iconic Shinkyo bridge was a lucky coincidence. I didn't intend to shoot the bridge until I saw these ladies beside the road, and jumped off at the next bus stop. Autumn suits this ...
