It was another sunny day today so we had planned to head out to the blue mountains, an area just outside Sydney. On the way to the train station we stopped at an Anzac memorial and reflection pool. We navigated our way to the station surprisingly easily and even took a shortcut through a park. This year we join TT Tours for our France leg taking on some of the best TDF climbs, from there we venture to Lake Como Italy for some R and R and then off to the town of Bormio to climb Stelvio and surrounds.

Stayed tuned for some great cycling adventures and sight seeing....

A very full flight from Sydney to Dubai, but comfy, on time and uneventful; just the way we like it. A few leg-stretching walks from one end to the other of the massive AIRBUS A380, a couple of meals, a snack or two, some music and movies, hey presto the 14 odd hours of this long flight were gone, we wish. It was nice to get off in Dubai, get some real coffee, really ...

... got drenched. While we were in the supermarket we parked our bike outside, when we came back kicks helmet was full of water..whoops forget to turn it up. We had a swim and sunbake by the pool, later having s complimentary high tea by the pool. It was lovely, a hot chocolate followed by canapés both savoury and sweet. When we went back to our room and checked the emails, found that Jetstar had cancelled our flight and put us in a flight ...
