Travel alone and you are never alone. Just around the corner there is a new group of backpackers ready to share the next chapter of the journey with you. I also learned to appreciate little things. A cupboard to hang my clothes, home cooked meals. I gave it up for the joy ...

... I really appreciate all of the my cards, presents, climbs, it really made my 21st memorable! The evening of my birthday we had booked to go ice skating in darling harbour. My legs were like jelly from the climb but I managed to skate like an Olympian. Harriet and I then shared a hot chocolate and wandered back to the apartment to go to sleep. What a great day and a great nights sleep! I now have to pack my bag ready for Byron bay so Harriet is going to take over ...
