Headed off this morning from Prague for the drive to Cesky Krumlov which is still in Czech and supposed to be one of the prettiest towns in the country. The countryside on our drive was absolutely beautiful. Continuous rolling hills, green pastures, tall pines etc ....... We arrive in the old town and immediately think that this place is special.< …

We didn't like the Czech way as much as the bread was very heavy so we just had the sausage. Russell had a hunk and I mean a hunk, of warm ham. We then set off for our waffle and chocolate. Carolyn was like an excited little girl, she had remembered this shop from her previous visits. We had ...

... and much better here. Hired touring bikes (road bikes but more robust). Once explained what we wanted to do, a lovely short haired blonde lady (about my age) decided to get us better bikes. 15 minutes later two Giant touring bikes arrived. Really good quality. Not a thing wrong with them. Put a pannier on as well with breakdown gear and a bit of storage. Also told us the best cycling routes to take with maps provided!
