Today we drove through the green Bohemian countryside to Cesky Krumlov, the most beautiful picturesque medieval town nestled on the banks of the Vitava. We walked through the narrow cobbled streets and arch covered footpaths past colourful town houses and centuries old inns. We had an amazing guided tour of the fairy tale like red roofed castle, …

... as we arrived at boarder of Austria/ Czech Republic. Arrived in this UNESCO world heritage site @ 10.30 after a short break the border. Apples and cinnamon with icecream, and a white chocolate hot choccie - ...

We had actually less than 8 mins. We had to haul our gear down a set of long stairs, walk from platform nine to one, haul bags up. Only to find the train to Kaplice was at the far end of the station. Everyone was scrambling to get there on time. We got there after scrambling into a 2nd class carriage ...

... well worth it. We all met at the river after lunch for our rafting venture. 5 to a raft & away we go with no instruction or idea where we are going. After being told that it was just going to be a leisurely cruise we paddle away for the next 3 hours trying to stay straight & off the rocks! We stopped for a while at a little bar nestled amongst the woods & manage ...
