... of the town, on a small pier extension. Jacques needed to get water for the boat, and Marina had to restock the fruit selection. After waiting for another hour or so for the water man, bringing the hose, we left Neil on board Millie, and headed off to Pineapple for lunch. It is not a far walk (maybe 10 minutes), but in the blistering 100 degrees heat, and not a breathe of air -- it felt trying on all three of us. Not comfortable at all. OMG! Marmaris ...

... BORA....... such a surreal place!! Jacques came back to get us, and we "three men in a tub, in choppy waters", returned to Milena. OMG! It is sunset, and cocktail hour is just about to begin: "Neil,could I have a Tanqueray tonic, with lemon, please", I said to Neil after he finished securing the zodiac. ... we felt it sensible to "park off". Sticking to the back roads and keeping as close to the lake as possible in hope of finding something led us to Dalyan. Dalyan is famed for its tourist attractions most of which are reached by boat taxis.

The turtles at the river mouth, the mudbaths and the Kaunos archaeological site being some of the more popular stop overs if one takes a day tour.

No campsites were obvious ...

... Whilst it was nowhere near as bad as Albania, there is still a significant amount of visible pollution.

So memories of TurunÁ will be undoubtedly positive. The view is stunning and changes constantly with wind and light changes, the special time catching up with family in the lap of luxury and food. ... choice for our last evening meal. We had enjoyed other dishes but the speciality dishes requiring "slow cooking" definitely needed to be sampled. We pre – ordered a lamb dish cooked in a clay pot and Serife’s personal favourite, a chicken bake. These were supplemented by meze, a chicken cooked in an iron pan and a mince pancake.
