... from the internet so you can see a bit of the area.)

After hiking around, we went back to the van and continued our ride to Fethiye. It took about 3 hours to get there, but was a great drive. It is very similar to Big Sur - roads along the curves of the mountains with precipitous drops to the ocean. The only difference is that the ocean is an amazing aquamarine color.

We stay in Fethiye for the next two days so will have more to report then!

Chris: We have a free day in the popular Brit destination of Oludeniz. A town catering for tourists with white pebble beaches surrounded by high mountainous... surroundings. You can get a full English breakfast with proper sausage, and enjoy a vast array of water, land and air based activities including walking, swimming and flying; of course there is also para and hand gliding, those banana speed boat things, day cruises and quad biking ...

... really heavy and the dive was strenuous. Probably didn't help that one of my fins was really loose and I was sure I was going to lose it so I kicked awkwardly in the hopes it would stay on. I put a lot of air in my BCD to try to neutralize my buoyancy but I couldn't get enough air in there...or so I thought until my tank had emptied a bit. I guess I didn't consider it was time to let some air out of the BCD and I got distracted when my fin finally did come off ...
