I lived in RVA for 4 years and had no idea this place existed! It was awesome. An old train buttress turned into a climbing wall. Someone came along and bolted the routes and left courtesy rugs for ropes (high flooded area). It was perfect. ... Carol and Teddi and I motored into DC and took the Metro to the Kennedy Center and observed the Air Force Symphony Orchestra and 8 choirs do a tribute to Memorial Day. Holding our traditional card game of GOLF, Carl waxed all of us. Carl and a neighbor cut, raked and baled the hay over about 90 acres. A great time, a great visit and a lotta fun.

Farewell, we must say and not good bye. For we will see ...

... walk through the garden, then after unpacking, we all went to bed at about 9 pm last night.

At 3 am this morning I woke up. I composed this blog in my head for nearly an hour before I gave up and just got up. It is now 5:30. Morganne will need to get up soon for school and Jeff will be off to work. Me - I'll be doing laundry, mowing the lawn, and restocking the kitchen. It will be a busy day for all of us, and I don't think I'll be this ...
