Friday, I had a wonderful Shabbat dinner with a family in Nahariya that I have gotten to know through a family friend. I am really humbled by the support and hospitality they've shown me. The North!
... down the mount and it was so gorgeous even though it has been raining like crazy and we all got totally covered in mud! But it was a blast even if my shoes are a mess now! Basically this area is incredible and we only have a few more days in Israel until we head to Jordan Tuesday. Lots of homework still to do, but it slowly becoming more manageable.

Day Two
... to the place where Jesus performed the miracle of the loaves and the fishes. Great little church there. Then, we went to the Mount of the Beatitudes where Jesus performed the Sermon on the Mount and "Blessed are those...etc." as well as the Lord's Prayer. Very moving. Lunch was very good in a small town up in the Golan Heights...meal was called Shwarma. Basically, lamb in a pita...very good. We also spent time at Tabga and Capernum, before making our way to dinner in Nazareth, which is an Arab town. There we had dinner at Mary's Fountain, owned by two guys; one lives in Miami, the other in Phoenix.
