An early start this morning and as usual we got an earlier train , which was boarding in 5 mins, so we arrived in Dover before we had left France.
The worst thing that struck us was the awful state of the English roads. The concrete M20 is diabolical. What on earth foreign visitors must think - its an awful welcome to the country.
The Spanish road system is superb and the French roads were all open in snow and ice.

... was a little shaken but recovered well with everyone's help. As I stepped out of the car I caught my foot between the kerb and the car and fell flat on my face as I tried to turn around! More driving to ...

... is nearly incomprehensible. It's definitely a melting pot of styles and themes! I imagine the judges on Project Runway critiquing the room, "It looks like you didn't edit yourself at all! What were you thinking pairing a dragon chandelier with silver leafed walls! I really question your taste level."

The music room is also very cool with a huge fireplace and decadent hand-tied pink carpeting. The wallpaper is ...

Once again sorry it has been awhile since I have last blogged, but school called along with traveling.

So two weekends ago I took a trip to Brighton with Dani. Brighton is on the south coast of England and took about 3 hours on the train, which is where this lovely story begins. We took the train from Grantham to Kings Cross in London, where we then saw on our itinerary that we had to switch stations to St. Pancras, but at this time we didn't really know the train ...
