... hotel at 9 to give ourselves plenty of time to get to Kings Cross and find out where we need to go. Carrying our luggage from the hotel to Pimlico station was a lot harder then I thought it would be. We finally made it to Pimlico and caught the tube to Kings Cross with plenty of time to spare, so we sat down to rest our legs at Pret and I had a coffee. We eventually found out which platform we had to catch the train from (unfortunately it wasn't platform 9 3/4) ...

After stopping to fill up with fuel I found the rear wiper blade not there. Typical 3 days before in the annual MOT it failed on this item and they charged me for a replacement !!

- The availability of good, cheap food pretty much anywhere and at any time. Just making toast is a chore in itself compared to taking a plastic seat at a street side stall and being fed with some of the best food you could ever have.
