... worst moment for this issue I would have to be sharper in future or it would be a very short trip. As my head torch died last night - a good excuse to visit all the outdoor gear shops in town - (yep one...) unfortunately it was siesta time, later. Now some would say that the Spanish are lazy! I would say that maybe they have their priorities right. And perhaps Anglo Saxons living in warm climates have it wrong. A short rode ...
... I was on knobblies - they were clearly not! Eventually came across a town called - Potes and said to myself if there is a camp site walking distance from town that will be my resting spot. ... we passed through a series of low, wet tunnels to emerge at the end of the gorge among the meadows of Cain.
A tremendous day.
A final culinary speciality of the Picos is the ultra-tangy blue cheeses made with untreated cow's-milk cheese and matured in mountain caves. Sophie quite enjoyed trying these; Sam rather less so.
