... we met through our friend Mo. Paul has been living in Helsinki for years. Our night ferry to St. Petersburg, Russia leaves Saturday night and we're excited about that too. We have a 72 hour visa free excursion there. The visa process in Russia is painful and expensive. The cost of our ferry there and back is the same as a visa cost and it's much easier. Next post will most likely happen when I'm already in Rome. On Sunday we'll have a nice bit of time for ourselves. Three of us are traveling to the city in the morning, so we'll have time to find the hotel and get a feel of our surroundings. Plus we'll have the chance to get to know each other ...

... all are, and free, which they all are not. As always though, once you entered the games started, donation for this and donation for that, they even asked for a 2 Euro coin in an honesty box to light a candle. Being the cunning little bargain hunter that I am I found that you can get a discount on this 2 Euro price if you wait until nobody is looking and just pay 10 Euro cents. It makes the same sound as 2 Euro and the priest still gives you that all inspiring smile to ...
