... she has been busily trying to get it finished for weeks (unbeknown to me) so I was very honoured that she gave it to me. Another student put together the start of a photo album of my time in Baise for me to add to. They had put a lot of thought into their gifts and all given me things that would not be heavy to carry home for which I am most grateful given the cost of excess baggage.

First Chinese Christmas Celebrations
... awaited us with much laughter. The hotel presented me with a santa hat with pigtails (??!!?) and 2 long red roses. Photos galore were taken but I still managed to dine to my hearts (stomachs?) satisfaction!!
Left the restaurant and then it was off to another hotel for KTV. For those who haven;t experienced this delight its karaoke held in your own private room, with your own drink waiter and lots of snacks which seemed to keep ...
Jingle Bells and all that Jazz..
... together and get seen......boys and girls together....no privacy here!! I had to take some photos as I could not believe my eyes - what a set-up!!
We have been looking at how Christmas is celebrated in Australia and I must say the students have loved the lesson especially when we get to sing Jingle Bells at the end. Most were too shy to sing to start with but now they are singing with gusto - much to the horror of the classes ...
