... did performances, including a tap dancing routine. The band stopped at about midnight so we started our long walk home.

It was built between 1970 - 1980 in response to the threat of nuclear war and had a vacation hotel for high ranking Government officials above ground, with a 2000 sq metre self contained bunker 9 metres underground.
