Cruised until early afternoon. Sampled Jenever which is the national drink of Netherlands. Made of Juniper berries, it tastes like gin. Today is St Nicholas day in the Netherlands. Visited windmills at Kinderdijk. These windmills were built between 1728 and 1732. The yellow rings under the cap are so the sails don't touch the ground. ... to target, all the while pretending to talk on the telephone. The best way of dealing with them is to stare at them to let them know they have been recognised, and pass through the area as quickly as possible. It’s a pity this experience is the last experience of Paris.

The train to Amsterdam is quick, comfortable, convenient, and so much more enjoyable than taking ...
