... nearly, from whence we came. At least, back nearly to our mountain border pass (which, incidentally, again, involved no border control, no passports). I'd noticed a camping sign on the way down. Sure enough, a couple of miles off the road into the forest we found a campsite with just a couple of other people in it (French, Belgian, Czech, how international) and for just 16 euros a night. In Bled we had been quoted 29 and 30 euros. So we have a field almost to ...

And also because, if you are ever visiting this area, it seems Magdalene is the only site that ever has places, or is prepared to squeeze people in. People were still turning up at 7pm last night and fighting over spaces. But it's a view worth fighting for. Via Ferrata completed and new Hunt Family Sport ...

... facilities though in true Hunt style). Then we spotted an ingenious use of the button lift (on what would be the nursery slopes in the winter) to pull grass-karts up the hill... It had to be done; Mike and Ben opting for the 'let's see how fast we can go' and the 'let's try it without using the brakes at all' style, and Ellie and I shared a kart with Ellie opting for the 'how do I stop' and 'can we go very slow' style! We all had fun ...

... Toll Roads the hills were not so dramatic but the engineering of the bridges and tunnels was pretty spectacular! Over the Brenner Pass, Steph even got a sign at the border this time, and then a long descent down into Italy towards Bolzano-Bolzen. The scenery was stunning with Medieval castles and terraces growing vines. The temperature got hotter as we came down into the valley to 32degrees when we stopped briefly at the Service ...
