Thanksgiving
... baguette (rolls don't exist). All of the food, although it was altered quite a bit, really tasted great!
The best part of the whole night was the group of people there. We had the group of Americans as well as students from China, Japan and Chile that we invited from our classes. It was nice to share the American tradition!
Feeling accomplished! It was a great day spent with friends from all over the world.

La Rochelle, what a place. Incredibly hot day. La Rochelle has a massive marina and is currently building another extension to double its current size.
There are three noticable turrets in the town, two of which were used to guard the town harbor by extending a chain between them to prevent enemy ships from entering port.
